According to Texas Women’s Foundation Board Chair Shonn Brown,

“Did you know that half of all child care centers across Texas are permanently or temporarily closed, impacting low-income working moms, especially women of color?

“To help meet the needs of low-income working women for child care and other critical resources, Texas Women’s Foundation (TXWF) established the Resilience Fund.

“Our wish list is for an outpouring of gifts to the TXWF Resilience Fund, so that Texas Women’s Foundation can provide immediate and longer-term support to those most affected by the COVID-19 economic and community health crisis.

“Please join with us to help low income women and families who are affected by the lack of immediate and long-term child care options. Child care is an essential support for all working families, and especially for those who do not have the option to work from home like so many of us do.

“Funded 100% by the generosity of community donors like you, TXWF Resilience Fund gifts will be deployed now to help our community recover. These women and their families urgently need your help, and we hope you will donate to the Resilience Fund today: https://www.txwf.co/2020-donate-childcare To learn more, visit https://www.txwf.org/”
